Kelli Casey
Kelli began playing the piano at the age of four. She has played
in numerous recitals and competitions throughout the years. She
received a Superior Rating for Piano Solo for eleven consecutive years
at the OFMC Junior Festival. Since moving to the Bay Area from Miami
in 2007, Kelli has enjoyed accompanying several choirs, music classes,
and dance classes. She has also enjoyed teaching piano students of all
ages. She helps students meet their goals by teaching proper technique,
ear training, improvisation, and music theory.
Kelli has been studying the French horn since the age of ten. She
studied with Colvin Bear, French horn professor at Wittenberg
University, for seven years. She was the principal French horn player
of the Springfield Youth Symphony for two years.
Kelli has also
been playing the flute since the age of twelve, and the guitar since age
sixteen.
