OUR TEACHERS

Bria Sabella

Bria Sabella is a San Francisco Bay Area based vocalist and music teacher with a background in both jazz and classical music.

Bria began studying music at the age of 4 and is an alumni of Inspire Music where she took voice lessons with the school's founder, Victor Cervantes for 10 years.  She is a graduate of the prestigious Ruth Asawa School of the Arts where her pursuit of classical music culminated with a performance at Carnegie Hall.  As her musical tastes matured, Bria shifted her studies to jazz and contemporary music.  By the age of 15 she released her first full length studio album, the self-titled "Bria", produced by Grammy winning band-leader and producer Christian Tumulan.

Growing up idolizing vocalists like Chaka Khan and Aretha Franklin, she now focuses her artistic endeavors towards neo soul and bands like Hiatus Kaiyote.  Bria currently attends the California Jazz Conservatory in Berkeley where she is working towards her bachelors degree in music.  Her future plans include writing and recording new music, performing around the Bay Area, and further expanding her musical horizons.  Bria is excited to bring her creativity, passion, and knowledge of music home to Inspire Music to teach the next generation of vocalists.
