CANCEL A LESSON

Cancellation Policy:
*If you do not receive confirmation of your cancellation within 24 hours,  the cancellation is not valid.  If you do not receive a confirmation within 24 of your cancellation, please contact us @ 415-504-7921
  • All cancellations must be submitted through email, our website, or our cancellation form at the front desk. Cancellations will not be accepted verbally. If you submit online, please ensure you receive an email confirmation. Otherwise the cancellation will not be valid.

  • If the lesson is cancelled within the 24 hour period before the lesson is scheduled to occur, the student will be charged in full for the lesson as if it took place. If the lesson is cancelled 24 hours ahead of when the lesson is to take place, the lesson will be credited and applied to the following month’s tuition payment.  

  • If a student cancels for more than three consecutive weeks, they will either be charged for any lessons in excess of the three weeks, or will be subject to forfeiture of their time slot. Time slots may be held if the student will be absent for more than three weeks, but the lessons in excess of three must be paid in full.

  • If a student is absent for two consecutive lessons without notifying the front desk, the student will forfeit their lesson time.

  • We understand that sometimes illnesses and emergency situations occur with little notice. A limit of one same-day cancellation per semester (April-September, October-March) will be allowed free of charge.  Any additional cancellations received on the same day as the lesson (regardless of the reason) will be charged to the student, without exception

  • Any lessons missed without notification prior to the scheduled start time of the lesson will be charged as if the lesson took place, without exception. No reschedules will be allowed.

  • Students may cancel up to six lessons per semester in advance without charge. Any lessons cancelled in excess of this will be charged to the student. If the student is able to reschedule a cancelled lesson, it will not count towards this total. If a lesson is cancelled in advance and cannot be rescheduled at the time of cancellation, the student shall be responsible for checking in at a later time to arrange a reschedule. The front desk staff will not track reschedule requests.

  • Students who are absent from their regularly scheduled time slot more than 50% of the time over a period of 6 months will be subject to removal from the schedule.
